Why do I need a CT Scan?
A CT Scan allows dentists to find out the length and depth width of quality bone you have in which to place the implant. This is taken to ensure that you are subjected to minimal risk at placement.

Why is sedation necessary?
If you are very anxious or if the length of the treatments is very long.

What are study models?
These are diagnostic tools to assist in the planning of the procedure.

How long do dental implants last?
Research shows if they heal adequately in first year with health permitting they can last over 25 years.

Is this a new type of treatment?
No, Implants have been placed for over 45 years.

Why hasn't my dentist mentioned it?
Implantology is a relatively new science at Dental Universities in the UK.  Most dentists unless specifically interested in Implantlogy have not been exposed and experienced with this type of treatment. Obviously it is with time that implantology will become the norm in every dental practice.

Does it hurt during treatment?
